E-CO2 and Alltech launch the Dairy ‘What If?’ Tool in London

A team from E-CO2 headed down to the Farmers’ Club in London to attend the launch event for our newest carbon application. The Dairy ‘What If?’ Tool, developed with Alltech, is a pioneering economic and environmental decision making tool available free online to farmers, consultants and other interested people. Building on the lessons learnt from thousands of on-farm carbon assessments, users of the tool can quantify the carbon and financial savings that can be made by impacting upon a number of key production factors. The tool is simple to use and results can be generated instantaneously.

Chaired by Patrick Charlton, Alltech Vice President for Europe, the launch saw presentations by E-CO2 Managing Director, Peter Darlington and consultant, Andrew Wynne. Members of the farming, processing and retailing sector heard how by making small changes, there were significant benefits to them financially and also to the environment.
