E-CO2 are delighted to announce the release or our forage budgeting app supported by Arla Foods. The app is designed for smartphone and tablet and can be installed via Apple’s App Store or Google Play on Apple and Android platforms by searching for “ARLA FORAGE”.
The app calculates the total forage available to the farmer in both a fresh weight and dry matter basis from clamped forage and any additional baled forage. The livestock and feed requirements for the winter housed period are then inputted. The app finally determines if the farmer has enough forage to feed the livestock during the winter housed period and what the surplus or shortfall is.
The app is applicable to dairy, beef and sheep farmers who feed winter forage to their stock and is free to download. Assess the approaching winter’s forage provisions using our new app!
